How do I know therapy is right for me?

If self-help tools and advice from others haven’t brought clarity or relief, therapy can help. It offers a safe space to explore your experiences, understand patterns, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Do you see clients online?

Yes. I offer secure online therapy and in-person sessions at my office in downtown Visalia, California. Online clients receive a new link each week for easy access.

How much does therapy cost?

Each 50-minute session is $150. This rate applies to individual or family sessions.

How often would we meet?

We typically start with weekly sessions to build momentum. As progress is made, we may reduce frequency based on your needs and goals.

Will I feel better right away?

Some clients feel immediate relief, while others may experience discomfort as deeper emotions surface. This is a normal part of healing, and progress often unfolds gradually.

How will I know when therapy is completed?

We’ll define clear goals at the start. Once those are met, you can choose to end therapy, check in occasionally, or set new goals. The focus is always on creating lasting change that supports your well-being beyond our sessions.

What issues do you work with?

I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and trauma. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for your situation, feel free to reach out.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement through your insurance provider. You are able to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) / Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for sessions.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your goals, and how therapy can support you.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law, and everything you share is kept confidential, with a few legal exceptions that we’ll review together.

Can I stop therapy at any time?

Absolutely. You’re in control of your therapy and can pause or end treatment whenever you feel ready.
